asiago crusted pork chops

its a beautiful day here in south florida i am enjoying life and all it holds



4 boneless center cut pork chops
1 egg white lightly beaten
1/2 cup panko
1/4 grated asiago cheese
1/2 teas salt
1/4 teas pepper
1 tlbs olive oil
1 lemon  cut in 4 wedges
2 teas fresh thyme


place pork chops between 2 sheets plastic wrap pound to on even 1/4 inch using a meat mallet
place egg white in a shallow dish    combine panko cheese salt on pepper in another dish dip pork chops in egg then dredge in panko mixture

heat a large non stick skillet over medium heat add oil   add pork chops and cook about 4 min on each side until lightly browned

squeeze lemon over each chop sprinkle with thyme  


im serving with broccoli  and a sour cream dijon sauce

i head broccoli steamed till tender

1/3 cup low fat sour cream
2 tables milk
1 teas dijon
1/4 teas salt


while the broccoli steams  in a small saucepan combine  the sour cream milk dijon salt and heat  do not boil  pour over broccoli
