french toast

4 slices of good quality bakery bread sliced 3/4 of an inch
4 eggs lightly beaten with !/4 cup milk
1 teas vanilla
1/2 teas cinnamon
2 tablespoon butter
warm real maple syrup

heat a large skillet over med heat   add butter  lightly beat eggs milk vanilla and cinnamon in a med bowl  dip bread slices in egg mixture   add to skillet and cook on both sides  till golden brown serve with warm maple syrup
